Two memorable ones come to mind but one is a bit personal so I'll share the in game one Very Happy

I created my very first Legendary on Christmas of 2012, The Dreamer, due to the Mystic Forge dropping the Lover for me moments before.

During the gw2 holiday of Super Adventure Box; Ara, Shadow, Star and myslef had to rescue my uncle from the evilness of SAB. We had tons of fun and we managed to rescue him. However, after SAB ended we all went our separate ways. I got lost in SW for what seem to be decades. Star enetered a baking championship and won. Ara became a jet fighter pilot and drops in now and again. Shadow went on a journey to find the worlds tastiest spicy burrito. Some say that you can find shadow in queensdale as a Charr selling drugs in an alley to new players.

Best holiday memory huh? I'd say the year that I decided to drink 30+ cartons of eggnog all by myself... that was just last year actually. I'll probably never be doing that again bwahahaha

The absolute most memorable holiday I'd ever had was 2012. I was feeling extra festive that day. I'd had a crush on this girl at the school I went to, and I always talked to her. So about a week before Christmas break, I went up to her between classes and asked her out, and she, almost without hesitation, said "Yes! Absolutely!" and my heart about came outta my chest. That was also my first kiss <3

    Best holiday story..? Hmm..

When I was in first grade, my school would give us these little "catalog" magazines of Christmas stuff that we were supposed to encourage (read: nag) our parents to buy. Most of the catalog was (to little 7-year-old me) full of boring adult stuff like mugs, fake Christmas trees, and gingerbread cookies. I didn't get why my parents, or anyone else, for that matter, would want anything as lame as a watch for Christmas.

So what was so great about it? What was great is that the magazine had a hidden gem in the middle. The reason I kept this "boring adult magazine" was because of one single page in the middle - a glorious page full of wrapping paper squares. It seemed like there were over 100 tiny squares of paper of all different kinds, from gold glitter spirals to reindeers prancing to little glittery blue snowflakes. I was in love with the colors, the designs, the smell of the paper, even.

I would super-carefully tear out these little squares one by one, and place them in a pile. After I had all the pieces I liked, I would cut designs and glue them together onto construction paper to make Christmas cards for my Mom and my Dad. They would always ask where I got the paper from, and I would hold up the magazine with all the cut-out portions. Very Happy (To which my mom would always sigh and scold me for.) I would do this for years as long as they sent those magazines out.  rendeer

As for today.. I still love doing this. Just with a bit more care. I spent $50 at a craft store the other day buying books full of absolutely awesome paper designs, so the 7-year-old in me will never be let down. ^_^ and they smell good, too.

    Happy holidays!

yay Very Happy I remember the first time I saw a white Christmas where we had about a foot of snow (or maybe I was just small back then and everything looked so big) come down in our neighborhood. Built a giant fortress using the recycling bin to make blocks and pick icicles off our front porch. People were sledding down the streets because there was just so much snow haha.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

    Cheers,

Lottery for the Month of December [CLOSED] Empty Best Christmas Ever

    Post by Cymmric.AKA.Toni Mon Dec 26, 2016 6:59 pm

It was 2011 later Christmas day and my daughter comes to me and tells me she is pregnant and asks if I will break the news to her other mother aka my partner.  I said only if the baby father is there too. That they needed to address this together since it took two to make the baby.  So she calls her boyfriend and he shows up about 30 mins later all ghostly white for a puerto rican boy. I call my partner in and ask her to sit down. Little did I know she was in other room cleaning her service weapon.  She walks in and clicks the clean clip into the weapon and sits down at the table. She places the pistol on the table and says "What ya need?" My daughters boyfriend clear passes out and falls out of the chair and my daughter says Merry christmas Grandma and runs to her room.  All I could do was sit there and roll laughing while watching the boy on the floor waiting for him to come too. My partner looks at me and says "What I miss?" Needless to say when I told her after laughing for a few minutes she slaps the kid awake and tells him to go home and never come back.  I got a beautiful little grandson 7 months later!
